Hoogheimstra's Original Condition 1963 Consul Cortina (The Hague, The Netherlands) |

|
This car was featured in the Dutch magazine Autoweek / Autoliefde. Harald Hooghiemstra must have been excited about getting
this car, because only the day after he bought it (November 29), images
of it were sitting in my email in-box. It's a 1963 Consul Cortina 1200
Deluxe with only 40,000 on the clock. The car is originally from Switzerland
(see the papers),
and came to the Netherlands in 1997. Over to Harald... |

| The original owner drove this car until 1997 in Switzerland. It's only driven 40000 km! Colour: Lemon green / White roof. | ![]() |
| This car is almost original. It's not restored! What a beauty! I like its design very much. | ![]() |
| Now the car has a Dutch numberplate. I've owned the car since 29 November '98. Super designed back lights, they have character. |
|
| The little 1200 cc engine. Not very powerful but smooth to drive. All parts are from the beginning! | ![]() |
| A very big trunk. At this moment there is NO saloon on the market with this size. | ![]() |
| This is the interior, very simple but spacy. It's fun to drive. | ![]() |
| I'm a member of the 'British Ford Club Holland'. Next year I hope to go to the Cortina's place of birth in Dagenham, England. Of course we go with our classic Fords. | ![]() |
| My Dad owned a '66 Cortina Mk.I 2-door for 7 years (1968 to 1974). In this picture you see our family on holiday in Austria (1971). I'm the little boy on the right (4 years old). | ![]() |
| I own also another Ford Cortina Mk.I (1965), but this car is at the moment not ready to go on the street. We, my Uncle and I, hope that the car will be ready soon (Jan/Feb 1999). | ![]() |
