Batman Returns
To make the bat be like a cat and have nine lives, go to the options screen and with control pad 2 press up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B and A. A tone should sound to tell you the cheat mode is on. To get you nine continues, again go to the options screen and push up, X, left, Y, down, B, right, A, up and X. Again you should hear a tone to indicate success.

Battletoads

Clayfighter
Elvis Impersonator Blue Suede Goo is the best character in Clayfighter, but pulling off his note attack isn't easy. Here's how.

Press back, down-back, down, down-forward, forward, then immediately pull back and hit button R (brutal punch).

Cool Spot
This great cheat will allow you access to the programmer's menu.

Hold down the L and R buttons, then switch on your machine. Keep those buttons held down and press select 30 times when the Virgin logo comes up.

You can now select any level you want and also be invincible.

Cybernator
Use this cheat for more credits on Cybenator on the Super NES.

Wait until the Konami logo has passed, and at the demo before the title screen appears, press and hold these buttons: L, R, and Up. Then press start. Keep holding these buttons when the title screen appears and press start again. Do this once more when the game start option is highlighted. Let go of all the buttons and play past the first level to see your credits increase.

Daffy Duck The Marvin Missions
To grab 50 lives, begin a new game as normal. When the "Where there's duck there's fire" screen appears, press Left, Left, Right, Right, Up, Down, Y, A, B, X. You should hear Daffy yell "Mother".

Donkey Kong Country
When at the select game screen, make the erase button flash, then press B, A, R, R, A, L on the control pad. This will give you 50 men.

Here's some general playing tips.

With tyres on moving platforms, move to the left slightly then back. You will find that the tyre should have disappeared, so making it easier to get past enemies.

At the level where you ride the mine cart, jump down the first hole. If you do this well (you need to place your jump you will warp near the end of the level.

When in any stage that you have already completed, to exit it any time press start and select.

When on the Enguarde bonus level go directly up, left, right and down to get to secret rooms If the level you are starting has a structure that you enter from, such as an igloo or cave, jump on it five times to make the level harder.

After dying alone with Diddy, when Cranky plays his music, hit Down, Y, Down, Down, Y (DYDDY) to earn extra men.

Don't feel like going through the entire Stop 'n Go Station? Just exit left as soon as you enter the screen and you will warp yourself near the end of the level.

With tyres on moving platforms, move to the left slightly then back. You will find that the tyre should have disappeared, so making it easier to get past enemies.

If an ! is after the title of a level, then you have found all the secrets there.

When in any stage that you have already completed, to exit it any time press start and select, This also works for the DYDDY cheat, once you have collected enough lives press start and select, The only thing is that you have to lose a game previously before doing this.

In each bonus animal stage, you will find a large animal of the same type. Get this and your score will be doubled. Winky is at the top left of his cave, Rambi is at the top right, Expresso is also at the extreme top right and Enguarde is straight down from his starting point. Also remember that with Enguarde there are also three other secret rooms to help you collect bonus tokens. When on the Enguarde bonus level go Directly up left right and down to get to secret rooms.

Donkey Kong Country 2
Here's how to get 50 lives. You must have no saved games before you begin. Start a new game and on the screen where you have the option of Single Player, Team or Contest, push down several times on the control pad. Keep pushing down after contest and music test appear, and cheat mode should appear. Now press start, select and then Y,A, Select, A, down, Left, A, Down. You should hear a monkey yelp to signify it worked.

Earthworm Jim
Here's the codes for accessing the cheat mode. You will see the Shiny crew if it has worked. Press left and A, B, X, A, A, B, X, A. (Left and A or right and A means holding the direction pad and pushing the A button.)

To skip a level you're stuck in, press start to pause the game and enter the following codes very quickly - A, B, X, A, A and X together, B and X together, B and X together, A and X together.

Earthworm Jim 2
For a tip of the day in Earthworm Jim 2, pause the game and enter y,a,b,b,a,y,a,b.

Equinox
This cheat will give you invincibility. At the title screen, press L button, L, R, R, L, L, L, R, R, R, L, L, R, R, L, R. The box at the bottom of the screen should turn from blue to green.

At the options screen you can select some very strange effects to make FIFA even more fun.

Joe And Mac Caveman Ninja
Here's some tips to help Joe and Mac take on the dinosaurs on the Super NES.

Use the flying pterodactyls as lifts to higher objects.

On the vertically scrolling level where Joe is being held bya red pterodactyl, keep moving down the screen giving you more time to see rocks and bonuses.

On the fire levels, stop in the gaps to let the boulders roll past.

Use stone wheels as scouts, they follow the land and kill anything they touch.

A single drumstick adds half an energy point.

Slabs of red steak add two energy points.

Watch out for red eggs which take you to bonus screens.

Jungle Book
Use the following cheat to jump to any level. Press start to pause, then B, A, A, B, B, A, A, B, A, B, B, A, A, B, B, A. You should hear Mowgli say yeah! and advance one level.

Kid Klown in Krazy Chase
To skip levels, use the following cheat. At the title screen, hold down L button with controller 2, then press and hold R button. Without letting go, take controller 1 and press and hold L button, then R button. Now without letting any of the buttons go, get a friend to enter the following codes on both controllers simultaneously: Level 2 - A buttons; Level 3 - B buttons; Level 4 - X buttons; Level 5 - Y buttons.

Killer Instinct
Killer Instinct is one of the best beat em ups on the Super Nintendo. Here's how to play as Eyedol. First pick Cinder, then wait until the versus screen comes up. When the commentator says fight, hold right then press and release left button then right button, then X, then B, Y, then A. If you've done it right the game will say Eyedol and you'll be able to control him.

Lion King
Being the king of the jungle isn't easy, but these invincibility and level select codes certainly make things simpler. At the options screen, press B, A, R button, R button, and Y.

Mechwarrior 3050
Here's the first three level codes if you're getting stuck. The first is B, M, B, R, M, N the second is 6, 5, C, 8, 1, 6, and the third is B, I, G, B, N, D. For unlimited ammo enter your password as M, I, R, O, G, 3.

Mega Man X
There is a way to get Zero's arm cannon before Sigma's stage. In the Flame Mammoth stage, part of the ceiling is made of blocks that X can break with his head, if he has the helmet upgrade. On the other side of these blocks is a small room with a capsule in which Dr. Light will give you the arm cannon.

Here's some level codes for this great game.

Level 1: 4325, 5852, 1821. Level 2: 6718, 5177, 6171. Level 3: 4561, 1718, 8546. Level 4: 4123, 5412, 3438.

X can learn the "Hadoken" fireball from Street Fighter 2! First, X must have every weapon, heart container, and energy tank in the game. In the Armoured Armadillo stage, there is a ledge high above the door to the boss's room on which lies a power-up. X must jump from the mine-car to reach this ledge. Once he collects the power-up, he must exit the stage using the Escape feature in the weapons menu. Do this three times and the fourth time, there will be one of Dr. Light's capsules. In it, he is dresses as Ryu, and he will give you the Hadoken fireball. The controller motion for this is the same as in SF2 (D, DF, F, Y), but X can only perform it when at full energy, and the password will not save the fireball. The trick must be performed anew each time you quit the game.

Here are the first few level codes for this great platform game. Chill Penguin - 1322, 8782, 7738. Storm Eagle - 5386, 8666, 2458. Spark Mandrill - 5386, 8662, 2438.

The mega codes for getting all weapons, armour and power-ups are as follows - 8441, 2176, 4423.

Mickey Mania
Here's the cheat to find the level select in this great Mickey Mouse platform game.

In the options screen, go to the sound test. Set the music to Beanstalk 1 and FX to Extra Try. Now go to the exit option and hold down the left button until you hear a noise. The level select option will appear on the main screen.

Mortal Kombat
You can play as Goro using this top cheat. The only problem is, you have to finish the game first.

Win the final game and wait for the credits to scroll by. When "The End" appears, hold up and left and select and A button. Now enter your initials and press A button.

Mortal Kombat 2
Here's a cheat that allows you to play tag team. At the title screen with the large MK dragon logo, hold the Left and Right buttons and press start. The screen that appears will enable you to chose four fighters instead of one! During the fight, when one fighter runs out of energy, the next fighter will jump in to take his place, until all four fighters are defeated.

If you want to even up two player battles, you can ramdomly select your character. At the select character screen, hold up and press start.

Here are some of the fatalities for this brilliant beat-'em-up:

Lu Kang (Dragon) - down, forward, back, back, high kick. Stand close to your victim.

Kung Lao (vertical slice) - forward, forward, forward, low kick. Stand just within sweep range.

Johnny Cage (torso rip) - down, down, forward, forward, low punch. Stand close.

Reptile - (eat) - back, back, down, low punch. Stand about a jumps distance away.

Sub Zero (ice grenade) - hold low punch, tap back, back, down, forward.

To fight the mysterious Noob Saibot you need to win 50 matches in a row on a two-player game. Also make sure you fight at least two different characters. Good luck!

Johnny Cage's bizarre "three heads fatality" can be achieved by pulling off the following moves: forward, forward, down, up, uppercut fatality, then immediately and simultaneously hold down: Low punch, high punch, block and down.

Immediately after doing a "spikes in the roof" fatality, hold DOWN on BOTH controllers to make your victim slide down the spikes and hit the floor.

Mortal Kombat 3
To access special Menus on menu screen:

Kool stuff : select, a, b, right, left, up, up, down, down

Kooler stuff : up, up, down, down, left, right, a, b, a

Scotts menu : x, b, a, y, up, right, down, left, down

Sound test : a, y, b, x

To play as Shao Kahn: At the menu screen, press X, B, A, Y, Up, Left, Down, Right, Down and you should see Scott's menu pop up. Go into the menu and enable Shao Kahn. Next, on the character select screen, press start on controller 2 and you should see him in the middle square. Scott's menu has other tasty bits and pieces so experiment.

To play as Motaro, go again to the menu select screen and press Select, A, B, Right, Left, Down, Up, and Up. You'll see the Kooler Stuff menu pop up. Go into the menu and enable Motaro. Then on the character select screen, press start on controller 2 and you should see him in the middle square.

Here's the finishing moves for one of the great new characters, Cyrax. The self destruct fatality is down, down, forward, up, run - and you need to be close to pull it off. The helicopter fatality is down, down, down, up, down, high punch. The animality where Cyrax turns into a shark is up, up, down, down and must be performed close. The babality is forward, forward, back and high punch. The disco dancing friendship is run, run, run, up. And the pit fatality is run, block, run. Have fun with those on your friends.

NBA JAM
To get power-up dunks, get to the "tonight's match up" screen and start rotating the control pad clockwise until the tip off and hit button B 13 times before the faces disappear. This tip also works on the Sega Megadrive.

For power-up turbo, tap button A 13 times then hold Y, A, and B buttons until the court appears. On the Megadrive, hit all three buttons seven times and then hold them all until the court appears.

For juice mode, tap button A 13 times then hold buttons B and X until the court appears. On the Megadrive, tap any button 13 times then hold buttons B and C until the court appears.

Here's some codes for secret NBA jammers. When asked to put in the initials, put the first two letters in and then place the cursor over the third but don't enter it. Now press the L and R buttons, the start button and the button next to their initials all at the same time.

Pink Goes to Hollywood
Here's a strange cheat for this Pink Panther game. Start the game as usual and press B and Y on controller two. This should make you invisible.

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
One of the best touches to this nostalgic Megadrive and SNES game is the inclusion of the entire Atari 2600 game hidden in one of the levels.

At the start of the Lost City of Copan level, look up and to the right to see a ledge guarded by a scorpion. To get to it, go right and bounce on the tongues of the two wall statues then jump on the platforms to get up the ledge. Push up to go through.

Now go left and you'll find a web hidden behind the rock wall, which you should bounce on to get up to a hidden passage. Walk right until you fall into the vortex.

Populous
To get full power, press A then B, hold left and press right, then press A ,B, X in that order and hit select.

Primal Rage
Here's how to get to the cheat menu. At the menu screen press left, left, left, right, right, left, left, right, right, right, left, right.

Ren and Stimpy: Time Warp
Can't find those hidden games? Just enter these codes on the password screen.

Log Invaders (Fish Head) - 35147, Space Log (Splinter) - 17286, Log War (Lumber) 11283, Log Man (Toothpick) - 71255

Ren and Stimpy Show: Veediots
This cheat allows you to access any level, but you have to do it before the Veediots title appears.

Press buttons L, R, A, L, R, L, B, R, and X. If you did it in time, a number will appear at the bottom of your screen that you can change to choose the level.

Robocop 3
Here's a cheat to help you survive longer in this tough game.

You can top up your power supply in the middle of a level by pressing start, then select three times.

Rock 'N Roll Racing
To be able to control Olaf from The Lost Vikings, use this code. At the select hero screen, hold down the L, R, and select buttons and scroll through the characters until you see the bearded Olaf.

To play as the same character in two player mode, just get the password from the beginning of a one player game for the character of your choice. Reset the game and choose two-player mode. Go to password and enter the code.

Sim City
Having trouble building a city to rival New York? Just use the code 7E0B9E4E for infinite money.

Spanky's Quest
Use the following passwords to reach the difficult levels in this great monkey-jumping game.

Street Fighter 2
Here's some fun codes for this great Super NES beat-em-up.

7E1A5A0D: Enables you to fight on the bonus screens.

7E101401: Makes all the magic go backwards.

7EOCI6FF: Makes you fight upside down!

This great cheat allows two players to both be able to play the same character.

When the Capcom logo comes on screen, press down, r, up, l, y, b, x, and a. You should hear a ping and the screen will go blue.

Street Fighter 2 Turbo
Here's a cheat for six extra turbo speeds, making a total of 11.

Plug in controller 2, turn your machine on and wait for the Capcom logo to pass. AAAs the huge TURBO scrolls across the screen, press down, R, up, L, Y, B on controller 2. You'll hear a noise to confirm the cheat has worked.

Now go to the option screen and put the cursor next to turbo and push right to increase the stars.

Stunt Race FX
Here's a strange cheat for this fabulous racing game.

For some tough competition in the battle trax mode, simply pick your racer as normal but don't touch your opponents controller pad. After a few seconds, the SNES will take over!

If you hold down left and right buttons when pressing select then you should be able to get the same overhead viewing perspective that is used on the bonus tracks.

Super Drop Zone
To go straight to the Snake Boss, type in the code 41201018.

Super Empire Strikes Back

Super Mario Land 2
To make Mario invincible in this game on Gameboy, use the code 001A9C449.

Super Off Road
For an unlimited amount of continues on this Super NES racer, select a two player game and play as the red car.

When the race ends you'll be third, and the blue car now has unlimited continues.

Super Punch-Out
You opponents signal their attacking moves. Study their facial expressions and you'll notice that your foes will pull a face before pulling a certain punch. This gives you the chance to dodge, duck or block and follow-up with a whammy of your own. It's crucial to dodge and punch for success in the game.

Super Putty
For unlimited lives, just pause the game at any time and then press R, A, L, L, and Y buttons in that order.

Here's some tips to make Super Soccer on the Super NES even more fun.

For player two to be the all-star Nintendo team, press left, start and B button simultaneously.

Also, to curl the ball on shot out mode, press L button and push right. This also works in reverse.

T2 - The Arcade Game
This cheat allows you to jump from level to level.

At the title screen, quickly press left, up, right, up, left, left, left, right, down, down. You should hear a noise to confirm it worked. Then at the today's best table, press right, up, up, left, right, right, right, left, down, down, right, up. You should hear another noise.

Now start the game as normal and at any time you can skip levels simply by pressing left and right buttons together.

Turn and Burn

Wing Commander
To discover a special options screen which makes fighting through the galaxies easier, press B, A, B, Y, B, Y, L, A, R, A and start while on the play select screen.

Yoshi's Island
Here's how to get infinite lives, but you have to get to stage 4, level 1 first. Near the beginning of the level you'll find a cluster of green pipes. Kill the plants with your eggs then go to the first green pipe that produces purple critters. Eat them until you have your maximum amount of eggs, then eat a red Koopa shell and jump onto the second green pipe in the group. Cough the shell back up so that it bounces between the second and first pipes. Shoot one of your eggs into the air. The purple critters will begin pouring out the first pipe straight into the path of your shell and you'll be clocking up the lives.

To practice on the bonus levels, here's a quick and easy cheat. Go to the level select screen, and press X, X, Y, B, and A, while holding down select..

Young Merlin
Here's what to do once you've entered the Dwarven Realms. Walk to the left and pour a bottle of water into each basin. When each basin is full, the fire will go out. Walk past the dragon's head and push the pillars by walking into them so that you can walk to the right. If you make a mistake and trap yourself you can use the teleport key to reset the pillars.

Walk to the right where you see one pillar below a gate, Push that pillar to the right onto the button on the floor and it will disappear and open the gate. Walk all the way to the right and push each of the six pillars onto the six buttons, which opens another gate. Go down through the gate, to the right, then up, and pick up the green gem, which you can now take to the magical rainbow pool.
